ELAN 3.7.2 released

A number of Mac users recently reported various problems with media playback in ELAN, often occurring after an update to QuickTime 7.6. Most of the reported problems (the new ones as well as older ones) seem to be related to QuickTime for Java. This version of ELAN contains an in-house built media solution, based on Cocoa and QuickTime that is independent of QuickTime for Java. Furthermore the integration with the Mac OS has been improved and new customization and preferences options have been added. The new functionalities include extended Annotation Statistics, export of a Filmstrip image, improved tier selection in the Annotation Density viewer, deletion of multiple annotations in a single action and support for Praat PitchTier and IntensityTier files in the Timeseries viewer.
