Unable to highlight segments for annotation
Using ELAN 4.1.2 on a Mac (OSX 10.7.2)two problems have emerged
1. While I am transcribing, the screen begins to tremor and does not
respond. When the tremor stops, the screen shows transcription lines with
time signature at 45 minutes.
2. When transcribing into ELAN the program does not respond when I am
trying to highlight segments with the mouse.
No errors are reported while this is happening - just no response so unable to annotate.
I was able to work on this file (with one video and audio media file linked) for some time before this started happening but now it is happening regularly with this one file.
Any suggestions?

Difficult to say. What type of video file do you have?
And are there also no error messages in the log file? (View->View Log...)?
If the file(s) worked alright initially, is it possible that the problems started after an update (of the system or of particular software) or after installing new software?
