Retrieve lost EAF file

Hello<br><br>I've spent the past week transcribing a recording. I've just tried to tokenise a 'reference' tier for it but, after 15 minutes, it still hadn't tokenised it, so I cancelled the process. Then I tried to close the 'tokenising' window, but it was frozen. I did 'ctrl+alt+del' and when the computer restarted, the file had been completely lost. It is still listed in my documents, but when I try to open it, only the ELAN window opens - no file.<br><br>A whole week's work :( Please help!<br><br>Clare<br>

It is difficult to explain why, without seeing the eaf file. If you could send us the file, we would try repairing it.
Mail the eaf file to aarthy.somasundaram@mpi.nl or han.sloetjes@mpi.nl.
