hi, i have ELAN 3.6.0 and i wanted to update it to the latest version. does the "down & demo" link allow me to download the latest version? if yes, would it have affect on any of my previous files or the delete anything that i had been working on?<br><br>i dont want to lose any datas that we have for our lab by downloading the newest version. :/<br>

Yes it links to the latest version of Elan. Updating the version shouldn't affect the files created by older versions.
In general it is nice practice to backup the files frequently(not for this purpose), just in case if anything goes wrong, you wouldn't completely lose your data.
