Hello Does anyone know how to delete files from the ELAN folder (ELAN 3.9.0)? Best wishes Clare

Hi, please explain... To delete files, you simply use your file manager / explorer / nautilus / similar software of your operating system. The more interesting question is probably which files and why you want to delete, and whether doing so would make ELAN work worse than it should?

Hi Eric Thanks for replying! The files I would like to delete are some of the speech data files that I have saved in ELAN after transcribing. Any ideas how to do it? Best wishes Clare

Hi, it is not quite clear why you wouldn't be able to delete those files the same way you delete other files (e.g. in Windows Explorer or Finder). Anyway, you can't do it from within ELAN.
