Elan & Mac os 10.6.3 losing data
I'm trying to find a version of Elan that works with Mac OS 10.6.3 (Quicktime 10). Working with 2 video files (.mov) for annotated etc the file saves and re-opens. A short time after (only minutes) it when you go to re-open the file is blank? No linked files etc..
Had used Elan 3.4.0 with earlier version of Mac Os with no problems...ideas?

Whatever happens, I don't think this has anything to do with the OS version; ELAN on MacOS 10.6.x normally doesn't behave like this.
Difficult to say what then the cause is. Are only the video's gone, or also tiers and annotations? Could it be that loading fails because some error occurred. Maybe the eaf file was corrupted somehow?

The file simply opens as completely blank - not linking files, annotations etc. There's no error messages or hanging on initialising it simply opens that way.
However, after re-opening the file 3/4 times everything loads video files, annotations etc & then files saves, auto-saves etc as normal. I've tried the Elan version on a Macbook (10.6.3 same OS as the Imac) and the same problem occurs, although it does sometimes load the file correctly on the first attempt?
I've tried the latest Elan version down to Elan 3.4.0 & have the same issue. I realise it's probably something really obvious but I can't figure out what.
