My colleague and I are experiencing problems with ELAN (3.8.1) crashing due to imported tiers showing up with the wrong type. Specifically, whether or not we have independently added the appropriate type in the target file, the tiers import without the appropriate stereotype (Included In), and then everything crashes when we attempt to add annotations to those tiers.<br><br>Any guidance?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Diane<br><br><br>

Difficult to say what is going wrong; so there is no name collision (another type with the same name already exists)? Maybe the easiest way to find out, is to send me the source and destination files, so that I can try to reproduce the error (han.sloetjes AT mpi.nl). Would that be possible?
