Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Is there anyone who solves the problem? An error log of JAVA named "hs_err_pidxxxx.log"(xxxx=pid number) is generated on the same directory of ELAN.exe when ELAN hangs up. Hi, I have the same problem. Any updates? I'm running ELAN 3.9.0 on 64bit Windows 7 pro. Whenever I open or create a file, something (probably JAVA) hangs up. I tried re-installation but nothing changes. Other items, such as preference menu works when files are not opened.
