Purple boxes?

Posted by juliehochgesang at 2009-09-24 18:41

I'm using ELAN 3.8.0 on 2 different macs (both with the Leopard and Snow Leopard OS) and on both I've noticed that sometimes when selecting an annotation, it becomes highlighted with a purple outline box. I'm not sure what that means. I couldn't find anything in the manual. Nothing seems to happen when I do that so I wasn't able to ascertain its purpose by just leaving it be. It goes away after awhile. So what's the purpose of the purple box?

Thanks!

If all is well you get this purple outline only by using Alt+Click. It is now possible to select multiple annotations with Alt+Click and delete them in one action from the Timeline viewer popup menu ("Delete Selected Annotations").
Alt+Click outside any annotation and the purple boxes will be cleared.
