problem extracting frames
Hello,

I recently upgraded to a new Macbook Pro running OS X 10.5.8. When I use the "Save current frame as image" command in ELAN, the exported picture is completely black. I've seen in the ELAN manual that this problem is common in Windows, and can be fixed by disabling hardware acceleration, but I'm at a loss for how to do this on a Mac. I did not have this problem with my previous computer, a Macbook running OS X 10.4.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this problem by disabling hardware acceleration or other means?

Thank you!

C
Re: problem extracting frames
Ah, I've actually solved my own problem. If anyone else experiences this, switching the default player from Cocoa to Java fixes this problem.

C
Re: Re: problem extracting frames
In Cocoa saving to a .png file works correctly, as far as I know. You can enforce this by adding the .png extension to the file name.
Only when saving as a jpeg the black image occurs. This will be fixed in the next release.
