Trouble syncing 2 videos (newbie)
Hi,<br>I am trying to sync videoA at 1 second to videoB at 8 seconds, and I have made multiple attempts with both relative and absolute positioning. I am using a Mac, Elan 3.7.2 using m4v files. Any help would be appreciated (including link to a how-to other than the Elan manual).<br><br><br>

Yes, sorry about that. In the latest release a new, Cocoa based, player solution has been introduced (as an alternative to the QuickTime for Java based solution). There are several problems with the new solution, one of which is that setting an offset is not yet implemented. Will be in the next version of ELAN.
What you can do now, is to switch to the old QT for Java player, as described here:
