copy tier from different .eaf. file
Is it possible to copy a tier from one .eaf file into another .eaf file? These would be two files that use the same media file and are largely identical, except that one .eaf file has an added tier. I'm asking because I am working on a file with someone else and we need to make sure that the two tiers from the different files that we are each working on can be added/combined to make one new .eaf file. The manual only discusses copying tiers within a file and importing tiers from another file only seems to be possible without the annotations. Thanks!

Yes, that is possible by using the File -> Merge Transcriptions function. You can find more details in my reply to this post:
