no sound with mpg-file in ELAN
It's the first time I'm working with video files in ELAN (version 3.6.0).<br>
Why I'm getting no sound with an mpg-file which has sound obviously in the "Windows Media Player"?<br>

Hard to say; normally you should hear the sound in ELAN as well, of course (unless the volume slider in the Controls tab has been dragged to 0).
The most likely cause that comes to my mind, is an installed mpeg-2 codec. You could check this in the log file after closing ELAN. The log file can be found here: <user_home>\.elan_data\elan0.log.

At my PC in the office the mpg is running with sound, so I think the reason is the mpeg-2 code...
I'm sorry, but how does this change in the log-file work?
(I have downloaded now the ELAN version 3.7.0)
