Printing problems
I need to be able to actually SEE the time line when I print a transsript (and not just the time code in numbers). There must be some way to graphically visualize overlap in the different tiers, eg. overlaps between talk and movement. How can this be done?

Re: Printing problems
Well, this is not so straightforward as it would seem. In the Timeline viewer in the ELAN window annotations are cut off if the text is too long (only for the visualization). Typically this is not what one would want when printing. So, either the printing zoom level should be such that all annotations fit in their space, or there should be some other way to handle the text.
Also, there is the problem of wrapping to new lines. If you have a time line, it will probably be painted to the end of the printing area and then continue on a next line. As a result annotations can be cut up in a way that is not very readable. The problem can probably be seen when trying to use a number of screen shots of the time line view and put them together on a A4.
Suggestions are welcome.
