When I was trying to merge two transcription using the "Merge Transcription" function, a pop-up window pops out with a line "An error occured: Error while merging: null".<br>Please help.<br>

Yes, this is not a very informative error message...
It is hard to say what exactly is going wrong. There may be more error messages in ELAN's log file?
You may send the two eaf files to me by e-mail, maybe I can find out what is happening.
