merge dependent tiers
thanks for adding "merge tiers" in elan 3.6. i want to merge annotations on four tiers, which (erroneously) appear as belonging to different speakers now, but i have only been able to merge the parent tiers (ref in my case), not the dependent tiers (transcription, translation, comment). is there a way to merge dependent tiers also? thanks - frank

That has not (yet) been implemented and can be quite difficult. Merging is only available for time-aligned tiers and even merging 2 dependent tiers of the same parent would be quite complex in some cases.
What you could try is this. Copy the 2 tiers that you want to merge to independent tiers (e.g. 2 transcription tiers), merge them and (try to) copy the resulting tier as a dependent tier of the merged parents (I hope I make myself more or less clear). This might work in some circumstances.
