How can I pause the playback while the annotation editor is detached?
Example, Shift-Enter followed by Shift-Enter gives me the Inline editor. A third Shift-Enter opens the dettached editor. Here I want to pause. Control-Space does not work.

This is not possible. None of the keyboard shortcuts are functioning when the editor is detached; all key strokes are intercepted by the detached window. When the editor is attached only those key combinations work that don't have a meaning for the text editor.
