Hi,
Is it possible to transcribe using SALT instead of Transcriber or Shoebox?

Well, at the moment there is no import or export function for the SALT format. There has been a request for export to SALT and a few considerations about this subject can be found here (http://www.lat-mpi.eu/tools/elan/elanforum/post200801154086105312).
If we decide to implement export to SALT we could implement import at the same time. Having a good documentation of the format as well as having an idea of the number of users interested in combining SALT and ELAN will play a role in this decision.
