Hi there,
is it possible to import annotations from tiers which are not assigned to the type "symbolic association"?.

Yes. Importing tiers with annotations can be done through the merge transcription action (File -> Merge Transcriptions).
Any type of tiers can be imported in that way. Note however that in any case the defined constraints of the tiers (including parent-child relationships) do apply.
