tiers don't stay hidden
Every time I reload a file that I've been working on, I have to re-hide the tiers I'm not working on. Is there a configuration for keeping tiers hidden? I've asked around and no one I know seems to be having this problem.

Hi Leland,
There is already a preference file which stores all the preferences and configuration set by the User. It is difficult to explain why the hidden tiers are not stored.
The first step is to look in to the preference file of the 'eaf' file which you are working on.The preferences file has the same name as your eaf file with a '.pfsx' extension and will be created in the same folder as eaf file.
What you can do is, open the eaf file, hide some tiers and close the file. Now look into the preference file for the hidden tier names or you can also mail me the preference file and the hidden tier names to aarthy.somasundaram@mpi.nl
