Hi, I'm having some troubles to opening a project that was given to me, I would to know if there's incompatibility if the project was developed in other computer and it was given to me to finish in my own computer(The versions of the software are the same).

It is most likely a matter of supported media file types, the transcription files (.eaf) created by ELAN can be opened on any computer/platform.
So, it could be that the media file type is only supported on the platform where the files where created or, if the other computer has the same Operating System, the other computer doesn't have the necessary codecs installed.
Could that be the problem (what type of media files do you have)?
