Importing from Toolbox
I imported several files from Toolbox into Elan. Then I exported them again (now with the fields ELANBegin, ELANEnd, etc.), but now I'm unable to import them back in ELAN. I have tried to import them either using the Text.typ file or creating a list of markers. ELAN returns an error message ("java.lang.NullPointerException").
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Have you looked at Andrew Margett's notes at:

I get this null pointer exception error message a lot too, but there are a few different reasons why you might be getting it.

If the help and advises from other sources didn't solve all the problems (and if we are talking about ELAN 4.1.2), you may send some example files to me for testing? A text file, the associated .typ file and the .mkr marker file that you tried when importing back into ELAN. There is no general solution that I can think of.
