Hi,
I'm trying to use ELAN 3.9.1 under Ubuntu Netbook Remix. When I load my existing eaf files into ELAN I am told that a player can't be found for my videos. I thought that maybe the best option would be to switch the media framework in the preferences, but the Platform/OS tab is blank!
Any thoughts?

Unfortunately for Linux there are currently no alternatives for the JMF media player (in ELAN, that is).
There is no other way than trying to get JMF to work. Two possible solutions have been suggested (install glibc5 and install a newer version of fobs4jmf).
We would like to have an alternative media solution on Linux as well, at some point in the future.
