Elan 3.9.1 crashing at new/open

I have problem with the ELAN 3.9.1, I installed the program and can open it normally. But when a click new or open to start working the system crash. ¿Somebody can help me?

Could you please supply some more information about the operating system and file formats etc in question? It might also be good to have some information from the ELAN log file (see previous post/message).
