I just wanted to add my voice to yours in asking this question.
I had had problems connecting to mediaware as well, but last night I successfully submitted a query to General Dynamics/Mediaware for m2-edit-cl and received a quote back from office manager Helen Smith. I kid you not, they wanted $5310 for the product along with one year support and maintenance. Are they crazy, or was this an elaborate hoax? I just want to be able to export clips from Elan. How else am I to do that?
Is there any freeware/shareware/third party alternative?
