Cannot open clip selection in Praat from Elan
This is my first time trying out Elan and Praat, so please bear with me. When I select part of an audio clip in Elan and then click on Clip Selection with Praat, Praat opens up but I get the following message: http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/3518/praaterror.jpg (Snapshot of the message). How can I resolve this problem? I have read the other threads in this forum but nothing seems to work. I have the latest versions of Praat and Elan. My OS is Windows 7.

What is the complete path to the media file, could it be that there is a problem with whitespaces in the path? In the error message the file path ends with "\Voice" which seems to indicate that it is not the complete path to a .wav file.

I have exactly the same problem. I just installed Windows 7.
Yes, I have white spaces in the path. However, this worked out well with the same location in Windows XP.
