Could it be that the "\id" marker is defined as the record marker in the referenced .typ file (\mkrRecord)? That could explain the single timespan in case "\id" is in the Toolbox file and also the error when it is not in the Toolbox txt file.

That does appear to be the case, the .typ file begins as follows:<br><br>\+DatabaseType Text<br>\ver 5.0<br>\desc Standard interlinear text type.<br>\+mkrset <br>\lngDefault English<br>\mkrRecord id<br><br>How would I fix it?&nbsp;&nbsp; Every field in the database structure is dependent on the id...<br><br><br><br><br><br>

Sorry for the delay. I'm not a Toolbox specialist, so I don't really know. If you have a project open, there is a Database->Properties menu. In the window that appears there is a list of markers, that can be changed, deleted etc. In the "Modify" window of a selected marker there is a field "Under what in the hierarchy". But, if you select the record marker, the "Delete" button is disabled and there are no other options than "None" in the Modify->Under what in the hierarchy drop down list.
So, how to change the hierarchy in a save way, I currently don't know.
