hello,<br><br>i'm using elan 3.8.0 on mac os x 10.5.6.<br><br>after adding rows from another eaf file i can't modify the rows anymore (insert, delete, modify...).<br>merging two non-affected files, everything works fine. merging the affected file with a non-effected one, none of the rows can be modified.<br><br>i noticed that there is no linguistic type neither selected nor selectable.<br><br>what can i do now? How have the rows (I suppose these are tiers?) been imported into the file initially? Normally the associated linguistic types are also imported. If they are not there all kind of errors can occur. It is then best to do the initial import again.
