I just wanted to generate a new elan-document but the program can't read the file.
Do I have to change the file into mpg? How can I do this?
Can anybody please help me?! I tried it on a windows pc and a mac, but it doesn't work.

I don't think that transcribing vob files directly, without conversion, is a good idea. At least, I don't recall any success reports. A number of problems with vob have been posted here before, so it is probably best to convert the files.
