Python library for Elan data

Posted by pbouda at 2009-06-12 12:46

Hi all,<br>this is more an announcement for developers and people who know about scripting in python. I just published a python library to access Elan's .eaf files, you can search through a whole directory full of them and pipe the result data to other libraries for analysis, for example to the natural language toolkit. You can find the library here:<br><br>http://www.peterbouda.de/downloads/pyannotation<br><br>Examples are given on the website, please let me know if you like it.<br><br>Peter<br>

Hi Peter,
This might be a useful tool to be present on ELAN's Third Party resources page (http://www.lat-mpi.eu/tools/elan/thirdparty). If you like I could add an entry for you there, directing to your download page etc?
