Problem with merging transcriptions
Hello , I am having problems with the merging of two transcriptions. The problem does not occur with files of a small size but with larger files. The error message displayed is a "null error". How can I fix this? Thanks

I don't suppose that the size of the files will be the problem, it's more likely something goes wrong in loading a file. Is there any message in the log file (<user_home>/.elan_data/elan0.log) after trying to merge?
You may send me 2 files that fail to merge, if you want.

The only error message I am able to access is the null error message. The problem here is also that the screen freezes and then I have to restart my computer, because nothing else works. How can I send the files to you? I don't see any spot for an attachement.

You can send a few eaf files (zipped, without media files) to
han.sloetjes "at" mpi.nl
If you can find the .log file, you may enclose it as well.
