ELAN freezes when clicking an annotation
Hi all,<br><br>I've been working with ELAN for some time
now, and this problem never happened to me:<br><br>Every
time I try to edit an annotation of a special kind of TIER the whole
program freezes. <br><br>TIER header looks like this: <br><br>&lt;TIER DEFAULT_LOCALE="de"
LINGUISTIC_TYPE_REF="default-lt" PARTICIPANT="Router"
TIER_ID="R.G.Right.Ruby.WristPosition"&gt;<br><br>could
it be a problem that I'm using the default-lt which doesn't need a CV?
Entries in this TIER are sometimes rather
long:<br><br>I
built ELAN 3.7.1 from source, and the debug doesn't show any errors in
the log. <br><br>help appreciated!

Hi, this sounds like there is something wrong in the structure of the eaf. I don't think it has anything to do with the Linguistic type itself, or whether it refers to a CV or not. Does the same happen if you unlink the audio and or video from the document?
You can send the file to me if you want; I could check if there is some invalid structure in the eaf?
