Annotation statistics
Hi,
I was wondering what is the rationale behind counting subsequent annotation of the same kind as one when reporting number of occurences in Annotation statistics->Annotations option (as explained in the Help). This isn't giving the real number of annotations and how they separate among classes on tiers with categorical information. Having the real counts would be much more useful I guess. Is there a way to get these somehow?
thanks
Re: Annotation statistics
The Annotation tab of the statistics panel has been developed by a French researcher and for his kind of research this behaviour made sense. In the mean time we added other tabs and there are new tabs to come. This might be a good occasion to add some options to the Annotations tab, e.g. to get the real number of annotations and their occurrences.
In the mean time the Find function can serve as an alternative to get the real numbers. But in this case you'll only get the number of occurrences of annotations with one particular value, you would have to repeat for other values.
