ALT+M does the same thing with CTRL+ALT+M
I guess one should modify the annotation with a pop up, while the other makes "in place" editing active!

For some actions 2 keyboard shortcuts have been defined. The reason for this that some of the "Alt+<some_key>" combination don't work properly on certain platforms, because they have a special meaning on the level of the operating system. Therefore alternatives have been added for "Alt+N", "Alt+M", "Alt+D" etc.
There is currently no shortcut for editing in a popup. What we like to do is making the shortcut combinations user definable; that could also solve the problems mentioned above.
