modify annotation time
I imported a text file from Toolbox but I could not modify annotation time. The function of modifying annotation time was not activated in ELAN. I don't know what I should do to activated this function. Thank you for help.

I'm not quite sure if this is what you mean, but the common way to change the annotation time is to activate a (time-alignable) annotation, modify the selection or create a new selection (with the mouse or by using the keyboard in selection mode) and press Ctrl+Enter (or select Modify Annotation Time from the popup menu in the Timeline viewer).
You can also select an annotation and drag it with the mouse while holding the Alt key.

We have encounter the same problem with the files which are generated from the 'chat2elan' function of the CLAN program.<br>After exporting the files to ELAN, no changes can be made in the ELAN interface.<br>When we tried to modify the annotation time or after amending an annotation successfully, the program becomes frozen.<br>
It seems that something goes wrong when we export the files from CHAT to ELAN.<br>
