Praat and Elan (mac)
Hi- I work on a macbook with OSX Tiger. I can't open a selection in
Praat. The problem seems to be the location of the sendpraat
executable. When I click on "open selection in Praat, Praat is launched
(V. 4.6.33) but Elan ask me repeatedly to "locate the sendpraat
executable. Any Idea what happens?

If I understand you correctly you did download the sendpraat executable for the Mac, but when you tell ELAN the location of it, it does not work?
If you have an Intel based Mac you probably have to download the source code and compile the executable yourself. (As described here: http://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/praat/sendpraat.html, you'll have to change "#if 0" somewhere into "#if 1").
If you don't feel comfortable we could send you a version that we have compiled here; it might work on your system as well.
