Hello
I am a new user, having just finished a training in Micro analysis of human communication. How do I convert an Avi file into something I can import in Elan?

Normally it should be possible to use .avi files in ELAN. If you choose File -> New in ELAN and then "All Files" in the "Files of Type" drop down box, you should be able to select and add an .avi file to a new document.
