Hi!<br>My ELAN (Version 3.1) doesn't play video-files in slow playback. To increase playback speed (100 - 200 %) is no problem, but if I reduce it (anywhere from 100 to 0 %) the video playback stops. It also stops during playback if I reduce the tempo and it goes ahead in the area from 100 to 200%.<br><br>Hope someone can help me.<br>Laura<br><br>

This could also be a problem caused by an installed codec (see the post "ELAN closes immediately",

You can check the log file in a text editor, there will be a part like this:

If the file is an mpg-1 file and the filter just above the "file:///.." filter is not MPEG-I Stream Splitter, there's probably an installed codec in the way.

I am experiencing the same problem.
It's impossible to play the media at a slower rate in ELAN.
I have had a look at the logs (as was explained in previous posts), but as a linguist and not an IT-expert, I cannot make much out of it.
