5.1.1. Exporting data from Arbil

Once your Local Corpus work is complete you need to save your files and upload them to the appropriate Remote Corpus. Currently Arbil can not upload to the Remote Corpus, you still need to use LAMUS for this, so you have to first export your Local Corpus from Arbil. To do this select the top node of your new, or modified Local Corpus and select “Export” (Figure 5.1 1).

You will then get a browse pop-up in which you can choose a location to export the Local Corpus to (Fig 5.2. 2).

Once you have selected your destination and clicked “Export Destination Directory” you will be met with a small pop-confirmation window called “Export Branch”. If you have only worked on the metadata content, and there are no resource files in your Local corpus, then you can click start. If you have any attached resource files you need to check the “Show Details” check box, then once the window expands you have to check the “Copy Resource Files (if available)” check box, then you can click start (Figure 5.3 3).

Once you click “Start” Arbil will generate/edit any session files from your Local Corpus. Once this process is complete you can then use LAMUS to upload your new/edited corpus.
