4.4.2. Adding favourites to other elements

The items in your Favourites tab can be viewed and edited the same as you would an element in the Local Corpus (right click > “View/Edit Selected”). As with any editing you do in Arbil, you will see a red exclamation mark next to any node you have changed, but not yet saved. Right click the edited element and select “Save Changes to Disk” to make them permanent. The exclamation mark will have now turned blue, letting you know it has been saved locally.

Once you have acquired Favourites you can use them to populate session elements. Let's say you have a new session and you want to add an actor element, right click the session node, in the pop-up menu, highlight “Add from Favourites” and you will have a sub pop-up menu that lists your favourites. Select the desired element and that element, with all its metadata is added to the session (Figure 4.11 1) (Figure 4.11 2).
