3.2. Adding a new session node to a corpus node

A new session node is added by right clicking the desired corpus node and selecting “Add” > “Session”. As with a new corpus node, you are met by a new pop-up window where you populate the metadata fields for this session (Figure 3.2 2). Note that the volume of data fields are much greater in a session node than a corpus node. This is because you attach resource files to session nodes, so there is a need for much greater descriptive data. A session node in Arbil is the equivalent to the IMDI file that the IMDI Editor makes. In fact they are one and the same, it is only the name that differs.
