Once you added a media-file or an
actor, the program takes a long time to load those newly made nodes (the
loading-icon doenst change back, not even 30 minutes later).

This should not take such a long time. I would suspect that an internal error of some sort has occurred which would be causing the delay. If you observe such an issue in the future please view the error log from the help menu (immediately after it occurred) and email or post the text here.
